STORM WARNING (1951) hits TCM tonight

A Doris Day movie I have never seen airs on TCM tonight. It's Storm Warning and stars Doris, Ginger Rogers, Ronald Reagan and Steve Cochran. A drama that focuses on model Marsha Mitchell (Ginger Rogers) who stops to visit her sister Lucy (Doris Day) in a small town and learns Lucy's husband is involved with the Ku Klux Klan. I am all set to watch it in about 30 minutes.

Monty, You are not going to believe this.. I missed it once again.. Too much going on at the house. I wished it had come on earlier in the day.

Monty & Dawn, I had this on the DVR and watched it this weekend. Dawn since you have not seen it I won't give anything away. I liked it, I thought the ending was sort of telegraphed (if you were paying attention) but it's a powerful film.

new author and a new book about Doris Day, but this time the story is about a correspondance that has endured over 60 years. "MY 'SECRET LOVE' AFFAIR WITH DORIS DAY" by Michael J DeVita is available NOW on www.amazon.com. Check out the reviews and read the story. Besides the 60 plus year story, the book's primary focus is on the music recorded by Doris Day and how that music affected the author's own life at various times in his career.

I just happened upon these blogs. I'm the real movie fan in the family, so they don't appreciate watching the oldies but goodies.
